7 days to NOVALISTIC 3.0!

I’ve put up a simple Flash timer on NOVALISTIC’s front page to count down to the official launch of NOVALISTIC 3.0! Now, you might think I’m a little too excited, but hey, it’s a site!
So I’ll see you again in seven days while I work doubly hard on NOVALISTIC’s code… and I’m not even a [...] Comments are closed. Read the complete article »

No more blog.NOVALISTIC tutorials

Since NOVALISTIC’s tutorial section is more than halfway there (I know I’m slow, but whatever), I don’t wish to write anymore tutorials for blog.NOVALISTIC. Well, there are two unfinished tutorials. I might finish the one on PHP loops and publish it either later today or tomorrow or some other day before the end of 2007.

dev.NOVALISTIC’s WordPress blog revived

OK, apparently something went horribly wrong and the database containing dev.NOVALISTIC’s WordPress installation was completely trashed. And the problem is, I don’t have any backups. Not of that blog, I mean. Well, I’m going to repost. Sorry about that! Comments are closed. Read the complete article »

WP-United: a dev’s wet dream come true

I’ve just stumbled upon WP-United, a package that integrates my two favorite open source projects, phpBB and WordPress, together. And I don’t mean just the design. WP-United merges phpBB’s userbase to WordPress, mapping users to it! That, my friend, is totally cool.
It’s my wet web developer dream come true and through. Seriously.
Even though phpBB 3’s [...] Comments are closed. Read the complete article »

XHTML 1.0 or 1.1?

Ever wondered what the hell the major difference between XHTML 1.0 and XHTML 1.1 is?
Never you mind those Transitional, Strict and Frameset DTDs for XHTML 1.0, but let’s consider these two version numbers. What made the dudes at W3C devise XHTML 1.1? Comments are closed. Read the complete article »

Upgraded to PHP 5

NOVALISTIC’s servers have just been upgraded to PHP 5.2.3! Actually I would’ve waited till PHP 5.2.4’s release (currently it’s at its first release candidate stage) but never mind. Thanks, Ben! Comments are closed. Read the complete article »

Additional blog design to integrate with NOVALISTIC 3.0?

Hey, I’ve just recently been considering making another WordPress theme strictly for BoltPress to become blog.NOVALISTIC. That means I’ve been thinking of designing a theme that integrates BoltPress’s look with NOVALISTIC 3.0. That in turn means three columns and a combination of both NOVALISTIC 3.0’s sidebar widgets and blog.NOVALISTIC’s WordPress widgets.
But I’ll need opinions from [...] One comment. Read the complete article »
