BoltPress passes 10,000 views!

About this post: BoltPress has passed its 10,000th page hit according to my Global Dashboard, which is really impressive since BoltPress is only barely a year and two months old as of this writing.
My Global Dashboard has just recorded past BoltPress’s 10,000th page hit! Now, I’m impressed myself, given that this blog has only been around for a year and two months and it’s not even some crazily popular blog to which people flock like the Digg effect (BoltPress hasn’t been Dugg anyway… yet) — instead, it’s the blog of a site whose supposed new version hasn’t been launched in over half a year.
These screenshots illustrate the stats of BoltPress as of this writing.
In the first screenshot, I’d most probably owe the sudden rise in viewership this month to the launch of the new WordPress theme directory and following release of Thistle 1.0.2.
In the second one, the busiest day, July 28, 2007 (just shy of a full year ago by two days!), probably got that many hits because that was the day I announced Sandbox – Potassium.
