Help Firefox set a World Record!
May 30
About this post: Participate in Mozilla’s Download Day by downloading Firefox 3 on its day of release, to help it achieve its own Guinness world record!
Want to contribute to Firefox 3’s imminent success (lol) but don’t know how?! Well there has popped up a new way! Participate in the Download Day, pledging to download Firefox 3 (and of course use it :P) on the very day it finally hits the shelves (well, servers)!
Mozilla is going for a Guinness world record for most software downloads in 24 hours since the initial release of Firefox 3. The planned date will be sometime in June. They haven’t decided on a final date but you know it’s coming up very, very soon!
I am totally excited about this event and am the 867th Singaporean to pledge my participation in this bid for the world record. Let’s also hope the servers will be able to take this hit when it comes!

Thanks for the post on this. I haven’t even read any official news about it before this moment.
I just pledged. So, South Korea has one more person to add to its list of pledges.
