Akismet has let us know of a CodeIgniter library to allow developers to welcome Akismet to their CodeIgniter sites. The library is available for download from none other than Elliot Haughin’s blog, which incidentally is a WordPress blog! Ah, you just gotta love these subtle but significant connections…

WordPress 2.5 and Potassium

I hate to nag, but please note that Potassium is a Sandbox design. Just CSS and images. All the template markup is provided by the Sandbox theme. OK, Microsoft said that IE8 would be standards compliant by default. The first beta of the browser has just been released, and it seems to be available for Windows XP too! Gravatars have been integrated into WordPress 2.5’s core, thus eliminating the need for a plugin! I knew this would come, seeing that Automattic bought the Gravatar service last October.
