GIMP 2.4 has finally emerged from the development phase, and gone gold! I’ve just upgraded. From how I see it, the interface doesn’t seem to have been improved much besides the icons though. There’s a handful of new features in GIMP 2.4, some of which I find useful, like scalable bitmap brushes, foreground object selection, the align tool and better Photoshop file format support. Check it out, it’s cool. I’m still pretty new to the GIMP but I’m getting there.
