Congratulations to the Free Software Foundation!

You can download and read the GNU GPLv3 anytime you want.

Then again, the GPLv2 notice states:

    This program is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify
    it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by
    the Free Software Foundation; either version 2 of the License, or
    (at your option) any later version.

The text in bold makes me wonder. Should I just stick to an old license or take full advantage of the new one now that it’s out? And I don’t wanna get involved in law stuff by switching. And I’m too shy to ask in free software forums and mailing lists. I’m sure a couple open source free software experts would know a thing or two.
